The Merida eOne Sixty 700 is a dual suspension e-bike with a refined design and the latest Shimano STePS e-bike technology for an awe-inspiring riding experience. The eOne Sixty is equipped with a performance-focused alloy frame with an in-tube Shimano integrated E8036 630Wh Battery (E8035 - 504Wh Battery for XS Size). The 630Wh battery offers a 25% increase in capacity over the older 504Wh model, matched with the brand new Shimano EP8 Motor, which replaces the older E8000 motor. It also packs a bigger punch with 85 Nm of torque and is lighter by 300 grams. It has an 'internal block' built into the frame, which prevents the fork crown from hitting the frame when you crash, and the addition of extra rubber bumpers on the frame to avoid any frame damage from the fork crown.

I could only test the bike properly after purchase and I was extremely happy with the results. Everything I read about the bikes performance was true. I usually have the motor power setting at ECO or Trail so I can get some cardio. In Trail mode I can keep up with a lot of dirt bikes on the winding tracks (because of the 25 Klm speed limiter). I really feel the benefits of the mullet wheel sizing with tighter turns, but at the same time the bike performs extremely well on jumps and downhill. Battery life is impressive. To top it off that colour scheme of the 2021 model I got is excellent (Grey and black with orange/bright red highlights). Everyone comments on how good it looks. The only negative for me so far is that the rubber cover for the under seat tool pouch has started falling out when I open it requiring me to push the grommet that holds it in place back in so I can put it back on. Obviously just a minor inconvenience.
