The Light Bee 2's steady 24kW peak output comes from a motor built with real headroom to spare. That extra reserve translates into more confidence, more control, and more capability when the terrain gets tough.

Hairpin Winding Motor Technology

The EVO-2 motor uses hairpin winding construction for a more compact build, better efficiency, stronger thermal performance, and smoother, quieter running.

Lightweight by Design

A refined winding layout and high slot-fill factor bring motor weight down to just 6.5kg. Less end-winding height means less mass without giving up power density, for an outstanding power-to-weight ratio.

Integrated Reduction Gearbox

The integrated reduction gearbox delivers power straight and efficiently while handling higher loads. Its compact build cuts drivetrain noise, boosts durability, and keeps maintenance to a minimum.

Centrifugal Oil-Bath Cooling System

Centrifugal oil circulation pulls heat away from the stator windings and magnets, spreading it evenly through the motor assembly to keep performance steady even under sustained hard riding.

Engineered for Maximum Control, built for Relentless Performance, the Bee Matrix Controller is built around a completely re-engineered power architecture focused on current balance, thermal efficiency, and reliability under high loads. Its proprietary "Bee matrix" circuit layout uses a full laminated copper busbar structure, ultra-low-resistance 2.1 mΩ MOSFETs, and automotive-grade vacuum reflow soldering, working together to spread current more evenly, cut heat build-up, and hold up better under extreme demand. The payoff is quicker response, steadier power delivery, and more confidence when you push the bike hard, whether you're holding top speed, riding flat-out, tackling technical climbs, or running the battery right down to 5% SoC. The controller keeps performance stable and thermals in check throughout.

Semisolid-state Battery

The Light Bee 2's semisolid-state battery pack was developed in partnership with Qingtao Energy, one of the sector's leading developers of this battery technology, and built specifically for this platform. A significantly reduced electrolyte content and an optimised electrolyte formulation lift energy density while also improving power density and cold-weather performance. The payoff goes beyond extended range: stronger power delivery, better cold-weather operation, and steadier performance across a wider range of riding conditions.

Qingtao Energy is a leading developer and manufacturer of solid-state and semisolid-state battery technology, with battery systems already adopted by several major automotive manufacturers and used in vehicles currently in mass production.

Big Power in a Compact Pack

Packing 3.53kWh into just 14.9kg, this compact battery punches well above its weight. The high-density cells reach up to 320Wh/kg, with the complete pack achieving 237Wh/kg, so every gram works harder toward a longer range.

Built Tough

Continuous 7C discharge, lower resistance, and less heat build-up mean more endurance under heavy loads. Rated for up to 1,200 charge cycles, it more than doubles the lifespan of common 21700 cells rated at 500 cycles, adding years of extra ride time over ordinary batteries. IP67-rated, it handles rain, mud, and rough terrain without missing a beat.

Performance Suspension System.Balanced strength and compliance. Confident on all terrain.

Front fork tube diameter steps up from 35mm to 38mm, built with 7050/7075 aluminium alloy inner and outer tubes, with suspension travel extended to 215mm. It is not there for looks, it delivers where it counts. From hard braking into corners to landing jumps, the added control and confidence is something you feel.

Kashima coating, SKF oil seals, and a dual-chamber damping system with bottom-out protection lift overall strength, rigidity, support, and smoothness to another level.

High-Performance Braking

Lightweight opposed four-piston calipers deliver serious stopping power with better control and consistency. A 22/20 piston configuration provides strong, progressive braking force, while high-temperature sintered brake pads with a 0.55 friction coefficient hold performance under heat and repeated hard use. The thickened 220mm diameter brake disc improves heat dissipation and structural strength, giving the system more confidence under demanding riding conditions. An ultra-light master cylinder and quick-adjust brake lever make braking easier, more precise, and more convenient on the move.

Upgraded Wheel System

The wheel system steps up again for greater strength, rigidity, and visual impact. A 6061 forged hub paired with a 7116 rim delivers a lightweight yet highly durable structure. The ultra-light straight-pull spoke design uses manganese-steel spokes, each capable of withstanding up to 8,100N of tensile force. The thickened hollow axle is made from 42CrMo alloy steel, supporting an extreme load of up to 40kN while increasing rigidity by 150%. Higher-grade bearings further enhance durability and load capacity. Front wheel bearing load rating reaches 13kN, an 83% increase, while the rear reaches 28kN, an 88% increase. The rear wheel also takes tyres up to 130mm wide, giving the bike stronger cornering potential on road surfaces and a more aggressive stance.
